Looks great! Thanks for sharing the photos. Do you have any more?

Regards,

How’d you get the top plane to stay up?

That is so cool, Richard, thank you very much for presenting such a unique subject! [:)]

Take care,
Frank

Awesome Rich, u couldn’t’ve done better…

Thanks all,

Lufbery - go to this site there are a few more photos there and if you want even more e-mail me.

Scer16 - there is a wire coming through the backdrop and attached under the right wing. I have the photos such that you can not see it.

Frank - this particular subject was part of my life from 1956 until 1964 and in one way or another I was involved with all these dios that I am doing with the launch site dio that is just about finished[:D]

Richard,

Thanks for the links to the additional photos. I take it you made the Regulus out of wood, right? Everything looks great.

I got to see a Regulus in person at the Udvar-Hazey center last year. It’s a pretty impressive piece of machinery:

That, unfortunately, is the best photo I have of it.

Regards,

Nice work-neat subject! Did the landing chute come from your wife’s drawer by any chance?

Great job, nice work

Thad

Thanks all

Lufbery - I have some good photos of the Regulus if you want them and yes, the models are wood and the small one has plastic surfaces.

BMdubya - LOL, actually, the chute is a half a whiffel ball with holes drilled in the edge and fishing line glued in[:D]

Richard

That’s really cool. Actually the whole series have been very good.

Thanks for sharing.

Dwight,

Thanks for the nice words.

Richard
