Missing part - Horsh 4x4

My son was given a partially started kit that he’s really jazzed about (a rare thing for a video game kid) and there is a major piece missing.

The kit is Tamiya kit # 3552. A Horsh 4x4 Type 1A. Specificly S.GL.Einheits Personen Kraftwagon, whatever the heck that means. The missing piece is the hood. Part A17.

I have only scale auto parts to trade. If anyone can help please drop me a line. I’ll likely have to scratchbuilt one for him, but the louvers will be a pain.

You might consider a photo-etched piece but scratch building will hone both of your modeling skills. Or Tamiya may be able to help. Good luck in your quest and post some pics.[:P][snWcm]
