Missing a part, Woe is me!

I went to look for part B25 on the Tamiya P47 Razorback 1/48 and it is not there.Looked for an hour on my basement floor.

It is the dual diameter cylinder that holds the two engine halves together and gets the poly-cap on the front end for the propeller.

BUMMER.

Maybe I can figure out a way to still make it work. I guess if the prop doesn’t turn it will be okay.

Just ranting,

Kent

as a suggestion try a couple different sized tubes telescoped together then slid over the prop shaft.goodluck[:)]

Contact Tamiyas customer service from their website. I have had good experience with them and they are fairly quick.

I’ll try that. Thanks. For some reason I was thinking that to order just one missing part, it would have to ship from Japan. Maybe it does.

I can’t say for sure where this part would come from but the ones I received came from Tamiya USA in California. As others have metioned, their service is very good.

Also, as you mentioned, no one will notice if the prop doesn’t spin. Best of luck.

Kent… I will be using a resin engine in my Jug so I have the part you’re looking for. PM me your address.

Wingnut I sent you a PM. Thank you very much.
