Although I usually skip this air show in favor of attending Chino or Reno for all the real airplanes, you know the ones with props. Due to work and school, I could not get away for a weekend so had to get my air show fix at Miramar and took many pics. Some are good and some not so much, I assure you the winners can be attributed to the wand, not the magician. Below is the link to the 300+ photos.

I totally forgot about the Miramar show! Looks like a good time, and the pictures look great!
I was at the Chino Airshow last may. Great show, but I couldn’t believe how friggin hot it was that day! It was the first time I’d been there in years[8D]
By hook or crook, you got some nice shots. Do you know who the refueler belonged to?
Did that F4D fly there or did they roll it out of a museum?
That looks like an awesome show! I too am a diehard prop/WWII person, but I do love the modern stuff as well. Some of those demonstrations must have been pretty awesome to see in person. Seeing the F-22 demonstration is almost a religious experience. Thanks for sharing the pics.
I’m afraid I didn’t pay close enough attention to identify the unit the KC-130’s belonged to.
The F4D was rolled out for the show, its part of the Flying Leatherneck Museum on base.
The F-22 is absolutely amazing, hands down the most impressive thing I’ve every seen. Pictures, videos or descriptions can’t convey just how impressive it is. Gotta see it for yourself.
Nice show & cheers for sharing.
Spectacular as the Raptor may have been, I like the F4D shots - you don’t get many of these in the UK! Although I have seen both the CH-46 & 53 overfly, I have never seen either close quarters - Although a fixed wing guy, I think the CH-53 is awesome.
