This is my Italieri (Esci mould) Mirage 2000C, as you can see, I’m still practicing at camo schemes with my airbrush! This was a nice straght forward kit to build and the only addition was a Eduard zoom set. I used the box decals for the markings.
Just to let you know about the brass I used: Eduard make a set for the Italieri box and one for the Revell box, I bought the Brass for the the Revell kit as I thought that both firms had re-boxed the same kit. They have’nt![:0] The Brass for the Revell version, is a lot cheaper but you will have to modify the Instrument panel to make it fit in the cockpit. Just thought I should let you know![:I]
Thanks Domi! I’m still learning how to paint camo schemes and add details so it’s great that you and the other guys think I’m going in the right direction,
Very nice job !!!
But (just a little litte “but”…) the nose doesn’t looks like the 330-AS Mirage 2000 I saw one time.
The Italeri kit has a too long “pitot tube” (I don’t if it’s the good word in english) and when I saw this plane it’s nose was black, but it is possible that it was repainted in gray, I don’t know more.[;)]
But you do a very very nice job (I cannot do that as well [:(])
If you want, I could find a shot of this plane on the Internet.
