Hi,
Does anyone out there have any news on the release/cancellation/etc of the eagerly awaited (by some) Minicraft DC-8? Last year it seemed imminent.

About the DC-8 by Minicraft. I recently emailed Minicraft and they they replied to me they had received the test shots of the DC-8 and should be out soon, whenever that is . I suppose that is hopeful we will eventually see the DC-8. … George

Minicraft showed off the test shots for this kit at the Nuremburg show earlier this year.

The kit will be the long fuselage (-61,-63,-71,-73), with “cut here” lines molded on the inside of the fuselage for those who want to cut it down to a shorter-bodied Douglasaurus. Three different engines will be available - JT3B, JT3D, and CFM56. From what I’ve heard in the airliner circles, it is one of the best airliner kits ever. Last word was Spring release…
