Hi when I was younger I used to enjoy making 1:72 scale models but now I am into film making, I’ve always wanted to reuse the models that I made when I was younger so I decided to have a go at making a stop motion war film and this is what I came up with.

Very cool, I really enjoyed it. I attempted similar things some 45 or so years ago with an old 8mm camera. What movie did you borrow the live action solders from?
I played all the soldiers, I just filmed myself against a green sheet and changed the clothes slightly so it looked like different people.

What a hoot! I thought it was great! As for stop-motion in general, it really is an art form. Call me sentimental but I think I appreciate it more than some computer-generated thing.

I remember many years ago doing a movie like that for an 8th grade project…my friend and I did a ten-minute movie on the “whole” World War II. We used the plastic army men. I don’t recall getting a good grade on it.

Entertaining. With some fine tuning it could really be something good. I do like the blend of stop motion with CGI effect and some live folks thrown in there as well. Looks better than some of the stuff that has been on the History Channel.
