I thought we’d run up against some lost episode of the “Thunderbirds”, or “Fireball XL-5” at first glance!! Great find, Vintage, thanks for posting it! [:)]

Take care,
Frank

LOL! Thanks guy!

I was only jokin’, though… [;)]

Fade to Black…

If you remember " Fireball XL5 " , you must be in the same age group as me, which my kids think is only slightly younger than the Pyramids.

A 50 calibre bullet on steroids that someone hung some landing gear underneath. Good Golly, Miss Molly, does someone actually expect that thing to fly?

Fade to Black…

I have a slide of it taken at the Le Bourget museum in Paris.
It is probably still there along with some other strange test aircraft

I have been at the Le Bourget museum, it’s still there. If I remember correctly, they had different variant of leduc’s planes.

Hello everybody

Just for information, you can find this plane in 1/72 scale (french manufacturer : MACH2). Also available by greatmodels.com
