I thought that assembling individual tank track links,or assembling and painting all the road wheels for a Panzer IV were mind numbing exercises,but I think I found something just as bad.Like attaching the 32 tiny fins to the 6 AIM-120’s and the 2 Sidewinders that make up the payload for my Hasegawa F-22 Raptor,my god,it seems like it’s nver going to end.Thankfully the carpet monster hasn’t swallowed any of them yet !!
that does sound like a chore, but try re-riveting an entire aircraft!! [:S]

I dislike repetitive tasks but sometimes you have no choice. Keep the carpet monster hungry.

Well, it can be done a few at a time as you wait for paint & glue to dry. Or while cracking open a 3rd or 4th model to work on simultaneously… uhh, actually, that last option is not recommended! [:$]

Talking about repetitive tasks, I’m working on a 350 scale Enterprise CVN-65, scratch built a hanger bay and working on the aircraft’s folding wings, man I thought I’d never finish cutting and repositioning all those wings! Then once done I realized I have to do the same thing for the flight deck with even more aircraft.
Hello everybody,I thought that putting the fins on all those missles was fun,now I am applying about 17 decals to each missle,wow,but they are looking good.i’m actually enjoying this one,it was a nice break from armor and I should have some pics shortly
Those fins are definitely mind numbing and time consuming.
I just recently finished working on a 1/700 Hornet and did the same thing. Folding all those tiny little wings really becomes a headache. Its been finished for about a week and I think I still have that headache.[:|]
