might have to change my name to RI_plane_nut

The wife and i have been looking at some great houses in the Providence area…mostly north providence…amazing stuff for 1/2 the price of what i could get here…i need to be by some sort of a city…NY is only 2 1/2 hours away…the whole area is really nice…anybody here from around there and have some advice?..

I have never lived more that 100 miles from san francisco so it will be a big change for me…the wifes parents only live 1 hour away in MA and we are going to have to end up on that coast eventually to halp take care of them in their advanced years but what really got me interested was…

Finished basements!..holy crap…if i can fit a proper 9’ pool table [preferably a nice gold crown] and my modeling stuff down there…everything is good…

now all we need is to find an electricians apprenticeship for me and a teaching gig for the wife and we are set…

While I dont live there, one of my best friends does. He loves it. I was a transplant too. Born and raised in San Jose, then I moved to Des Moines, IA. Biggest thing to get used to…weather.

i am actually excited about the weather…nice costal town like SF so the weather is nice and cool in the summer…something like average 72-74 degrees…just like here…as far as the winter…i will get used to that easily enough…ask your buddy if he knows any electricians who need an apprentice…i need to find one to be able to go…

this is my favorite one so far…i dont think it has a garage though and that is a deal breaker…
