Mig absolute chipping

I have a bottle of the mig chipping solution hanging around and I figure its time to try it. Does anyone know if it works best on acrylics, enamels or Mr Color lacquers? All? None?

The goal, at least for this project is for subtle chipping in a cockpit. Base is Alclad aluminum that Ill seal with acrylic dull and then topcoat with int green (either mm enamel, acrylic or lacquer depending on which works best.). I’ve read this technique is the same as hairspray.

I have a bottle of this stuff too, but haven’t used it yet. The topcoat you want to chip away must be acrylic I think. Mig made a short video tutorial on how to use it on youtube. Check it out.
