Hey all,
I was wondering if anyone had any opinions about what the best kit for a 1/48 Mig-3 is. I have been wanting to model this plane for some time now. So if anybody with an opinion on such a kit could give their opinion, it would be appreciated.

There’s only two that I can think of. An older short run release by Classic Airframes & a newer release by ICM. The ICM kit is the better of the two, although not a beginners kit. Also, the ICM kit will likely be much easier to find as the CA kit has been OOP for quite a while.

I can vouch for the ICM kit as well-- not a beginner kit, but you get get a nicely detailed engine as a result!

Hello; undoubly, I shall recommend you the ICM Mig-3… by far is the better one and is higly detailed inside and outside. you can buy it through lindenhill imports

I know you asked for 1/48, but the Trumpeter 1/32 MiG-3 is an EXCELLENT kit!

Thanks all…I really appreciate the opinions. I will be lookiong at the ICM model as well as the 1/32 scale Trumpeter model (even though I was the one who asked for 1/48 scale).
