First, thanks to those that chimed in with my Corsair questions in my previous post. I decided for something more modern and ditched the classic gull gray/white scheme. This is Revell’s Germany 1/48 A-7E built pretty much OOB. Overall color is Light Ghost Gray. All the weathering is post shade and was made with Tamiya Smoke X-19 5:1 (thinned with alcohol) and sprayed with an AZTEK A470 + Tan Nozzle. Sludge on panels with black+burn sienna oils diluted with mineral spirit. Intake cover was made from scratch.
And here is my Mig 29AS from Academy. This is the limited Slovak Air Force edition. Very simple cockpit and landing gear wells. FOD Covers from Quickboost.net. Thin but strong decals from Cartograf. Some of them were too big and I did sliced them in 2 for better handling and positioning on the model.
I was amazed, not a big aircraft, here is a comparo picture with a Viper.
Well guys, thanks for lookin and hope you like them. I’m expecting a yellow decal sheet to cut the yellow trims around the canopies.
While I’m not a fan of grey jets, I think your SLUFF is really well done… Even though it’s a jet, there’s something about those little jets that I like… The top wing/fuselage-joints are a bit more… pronounced than I would have left them, but other than that, excellent work…

I’m not a fan of Russian aircraft, and even less one of “pixelated” camouflage, but your workmanship is really, really good… Also, giving you points for “scope of effort” on the camo, since the amount of masking for that scheme takes the cake, IMHO… Set next to the F-16, that’s a nice touch too…
Hans, thanks a lot for your comments. You’re right of the fuselage/wing joints. Honest with you and with myself, I’m a bit petrified when it comes to sanding so close to that kind of details. I decided to use A+B epoxy and leave it like that. Thanks for the compliment on the camo but let me tell you, that was not airbrushed. I don’t have the guts to do something like that -yet-. The whole pixel camo scheme are the included decals from Cartograf. This is what I believe, makes the kit a Limited Special Edition. According to the box, it says Limited Availability
Mark: Thanks so much for commenting. My last 3 builds have been weathered with very thin Tamiya Smoke and there is so much control post shading than pre-shading with black. But that is just my personal opinion, mileage may vary.

Hi Fermis, as far as I know, that is a Hasegawa kit in a Revell of Germany box. The box is rather big, one can almost fit 2½ kits in there [:O] Glad you liked it.
