I have two MiG-29 kits, an old Hobbycraft Iraqi MiG-29 (Hasegawa knock-off) and an Italeri kit. I know Testors makes Fulcrum colors, but only for enamel, and I’m an acrylic kind of guy. Does anybody know of any alternative colors from the Polly Scale or Tamiya range?
Tamiya’s Sky Gray, xf-19 is a good substitute for the base gray color. But you will probably have to custom mix the gray green disruptive pattern color.
If it is of any help, my soon to be built Mig 29B calls for light gray. My built Slovakian AF special edition Mig 29AS version calls for Light Ghost Gray (FS36375) (I used Acryl). Both are from Academy. I have as a write this a jar of XF-19 Tamiya and I second stikpusher on his recommendation.
