Mig-29 decals

Hello everyone.

I got a Monogram 1/48 scale Mig-29 Fulcrum in a garage sale with no decals, but all parts accounted for.

Does anybody know of a good place online or mail order for decals? Specifically different nations that use the Mig-29.

I already tried Squadron.com, the markings have are for a UB version(two seater) of the Mig and my kit is an A/B version.

Thanks in advanced.

Cam decals (www.camdecals.com) have a couple of sheets for the Mig-29 and Cutting Edge Modelworks (www.meteorprod.com) also have some sheets. Hope this helps.

Cutting Edge did have at least two MiG-29 sheets out when the Academy 1/48 kits were new, I suspect they won’t be too hard to find. If I remember correctly, there was only one Soviet decal option between those two sheets, the rest were foreign birds that included options for Polish, Cuban, Indian, Czech and East German examples amoungst others.

Leading edge also had at least one MiG-29 Decal sheet and it featured a specialy painted Ukrainian airforce bird that was put on the North American airshow circuit right after the Soviet Union fell apart. You can go to www.lemdecal.com to see if that sheet is still available, I have my doubts though.

I built the same kit, using Eagle Strike 1:48 Ivan’s Eagles decals. Pretty good deal, includes decals for four different birds (3 single seaters and 1 two seater), along with some history of the squadron. I was very satisfied with it. You can find them at http://www.eaglestrikeproductions.com/

Hi decal from poland makes a decal sheet for the mig-29

If you plan on building the model, try and find the Verlinden up date kit for it. It has resin parts to correct the wing, rudders, drop tank and many other areas. It also has many PE parts . It is the only way to make the kit look like the real MIG-29.

I know also that Aztec Decals and Albatros, make decals in 1/72 and 1/48 for Peruvian Mig-29’s… but you have to make a conversion… you have a Mig-29 Fulcrum A/B… and these decals are for a Mig-29S/SE Fulcrum C…

Try www.lindenhillimports.com They usually have a pretty good selection of Russian items.
