I would suppose the “Jet Fighter” in the Colin McRae Rally 3 video game is a twin-seater MiG-21 aircraft.

Therefore, I made a 1:144 one and put it in front of my video screen…

hehe, I remember this in CM3. It would fly, allbeit briefly once you got some speed up. The 3-d model was quite impressive, if you crashed it the canopy would flap open and you could see all the control panels and dials. And the little Russian pilots were funny. I think there was also a little tank as well. Thanks for posting this, I’m going to go home tonight and dig this game out for a blast from the past.

Yes, I have spent some time to learn how to fly this funny aircraft. The best venue is the SSS (Super Special Stage) of Spain. Also, if the canopy flapped open, it can be closed again by another crash! Sometimes, I lost the AIM-9 missiles on the road when crashed. The replay is equally funny. Hope Dan enjoy the game again.
