Don’t have my “dates list” handy, but later “Early Tigers” were being delivered in the new factory yellow before “mids” were introduced, so “mids” certainly would be in yellow.
Your best bet for a gray Tiger I is the “initial” or a very early Tiger, likely without the S-mines and turret track links and of course with Feifels.
