Hi,
Awhile ago I found and bought a mid 80’s Revell kit called “Confrontation at mach II” which included an F-15 and MiG-25. My Question is, Did Revell pair any other aircraft kits together like this in 48 scale?
Hi,
Awhile ago I found and bought a mid 80’s Revell kit called “Confrontation at mach II” which included an F-15 and MiG-25. My Question is, Did Revell pair any other aircraft kits together like this in 48 scale?
Several years ago, I bought a F-15/Apache helicopter combo kit. I think it might have been called “Air Superiority” (or something), but I’m not entirely sure. AMT also had a kit in 1/72 scale with a F-16 and Mig29.
Revell/Monogram combined a few kits like that. There was one with a P-47 and a Dornier ?337? (I think). Also there was one with a F-86 and a MiG-15 all in 1/48 scale. If you check around you can still find them. Good luck.
I saw some crop up on evilbay recently under the name ProFinish. The body has already been painted & decalled - you just have to build it. These may be the current incarnation of the same thing.
Yes, there were about six of those double kits. Someone else mentioned most of the ones I can remember. There was a Fw-190 and P-51B too. Oops, just remembered, most of the ones I was thinking about were Monogram kits.
There were more than one Revell double kit though. I just looked them up. There was also a Mideast Conflict one with an F-16 and a MiG-21 and Vietnam Air Aces with an F-4 and a MiG-21.
I also recall a 1/32 double kit issued in the late 70s which had an F-4E and a MiG-21.

I remember seeing adds for these kits. I would have guessed it was the early 90’s. I vaguely remember a 1/48 P-40B and Zero being offered together.
Monogram also boxed a pairing of the Hurricane & Bf109E as a Battle of Britain duo.
