Micro Sol Ate The Future

Future was cured for 48 hours. Decals applied with Micro Set and allowed to dry for 6 hours. I applied Micro Sol to pull a couple of areas down. It attacked the Future. Made it sticky, softand cloudy. What happened? Is this normal?

Respraying with Future may fix the cloudiness issue. Micro Sol (short for SOLvent) is a dangerous thing to use with Future. I have never had good luck with it, and only use Micro Set.

I use microsol with Future on every build, but am VERY careful not to let the stuff touch the Future around the decal. I put a drop or two on the center of the decal, then use a soft brush to push it around. The cloudiness that appears with the interaction of the sol and Future under the clear areas of the decals go away within a day or so.

I just used MicroSol on Future that was cured for 12 hours and it was fine. Good thing too since I NEVER use Future but wanted to try again and didn;t see this thread 'til now.

I have never had a problem like this at all.

ive had it turn my future white but once it dryed it was fine.

Will Solvaset do the same thing? Now I’m worried…

I’ve seen it turn cloudy for the same reason as well, but the cloudiness went away within a few hours.

I have seen the same thing occur on a lot of my builds but I concur with what several others have said in that the cloudy appearance does disappear particularly once you pput on another coat of Future.
