A few minutes ago, I received and email announcing the English version of Michulec’s “T-34 Mythical Weapon” book is in stock at AirConnection. Although the book is very late, it should prove worth the wait. It is over 500 pages long and contains almost 900 photos. There are 20 pages in color.

Yeah, things got busy with a new-to-me house and work, so I had to set the sprue aside. I have been popping in every now and then to see how you and your big T have been getting along. Great work! It’ll be interesting to see how the new book and the original Polish two-volume books compare. I can’t wait to see what the text I’ve been trying to decipher actually says.

I have mine too. It’s impressive. They’ve done more than just convert the original into English. They’ve changed the small-format, two-volume edition into a single large format book.
Both versions are 500+ pages, but the new format allowed larger pictures and a giant, mostly new, section of 1/35 drawings. There’s 60 pages of scale plans starting with T-34’s from the fall of 1940 ranging to the last war production T-34-85’s.
Was it you or someone else who was trying to figure out what the bottom of the air cleaners looked like? Anyway, there’s a nice drawing and some pics of them on page 367 & 368. That woulda saved some time.
