While painting the spit with MM silver chrome for the salting effect, the paint freaked out initially and spattered on one of the wings. Since this would mark the third time stripping the paint off if I did so, I hope that I can just sand it down to knock down the higher spatters. Anyone have an opinion as to whether or not this will work?
Thanks

Not sure what your trying to do, but most flubs can be sanded and fixed. BTW I’ve tried the salt thing twice, and wasn’t happy with the results. I was painting a N1K1 and the salt stained the Tamiya undersurface color. I was not happy. I don’t think I’ll try that technique again.

Thanks. I heard kosher salt was less meshugana. I guess the bigger crystals or something. I’m gonna power through with it since I’ve never done it.
Thanks again,
