Merry Xmas! And a new kit arrived.

Hey all.

Delivery Guy just dropped of a nice little bit of X-Mas Plastic.

It is the Wave 1/72 Destroid Defender kit.

Just a quick in-box review as I need to head out.

Bassicaly similar in detail to the previously released Tomahawk(but slightly fewer parts/simpler design).

From the hips down the kits are identical. Cockpit is fair with pilot and opening hatch, 2 types of ammo cases for the body.

Will do a test-snap later on and try to get a group-shot of a few 1/72 kits that are still awaiting putty and Paint.

Group currently is Bandai 1/72 Regultx2, Wave 1/72 Tomahawk, Bandai 1/72 Spartan, Bandai 1/72 Defender.

Did you see that the 1:72 Phalanx and 1:100 Monster are in the works for an as-yet-undetermined release date?

Thx, yeah saw the announced Phalanx(reckon will be soon available for pre-order) never was too fond of the Monster.

Kit is now 80% test-snapped. as expected new detail level is great. Sensor in chest positionable(slides up and down), etc.

Forgot to add the Defender comes with clear 2 sprues. 1 for the defender upper body, 1 from the Tomahawk for the clear parts on the legs. So spares for the greeblie pile.
