Hi all, I just started on the 1/32 Hasa P-51D “Man o War” kit and have decided to open up a bit of the engine panels to show details there. I have a couple of pics that show some of the plumbing but am wondering if anybody out there has some diagrams/ pics that show the wiring and plumbing of the sides and top of the engine.
The pics that I have are of a mustang during what looks like a rebuild and show the engine with all the cowlings removed but they arent that great for plumbing details.[banghead]
Expect problems with this kit, particularly the cockpit area and wing root., you should look into getting an AM cockpit AND engine as the ones provided are kinda crappy.[:)], and if i remember right the engine don’t even have mounts.
I’ve been doing some research on the Packard engines (the V-12 4M-2500 for the PT-Boats) do a google search “Packard V-1650” (a P-51 Engine) and you’ll get some good hits.
