I’m not sure if this belongs on the armor discussion board but the kit will be in 1/35th scale and I’m sure many will be built as gun trucks or post apocalyptic vehicles. Needless to say it would make a good civilian truck as part of a diorama.
While not on the Meng website yet the 1/35th scale version of their large Ford truck are starting to show up on Ebay for around fouty two dollars. No word about engine detail or chrome plated parts.
The below post has sprue shots and such. There is no chrome and no engine. It looks like it will be a nice kit and will lend esily to becoming a guntruck or other paramilitary type vehicle.
It would be a bit much to expect an exact scaled down version of Meng’s super detailed 1/24th scacale Ford 350 in 1/35th scale. The lack of chrome isn’t any great loss since the wheel look more realistic painted flat alumimum and Testor’s silver for the mirrors and lights. Of course a military, paramilitary or post apocalyptic vehicle much crome on it anyway.
You have to give Meng credit for labeling it a Ford F350 instead of an “American Truck”. They already made a 1/24th scale Ford so I guess. there were no liicensing issues.
