Jack Colin here, Doctorsan. Long time subscriber to FSM. Finally on the CyberSide. I’ve been building models since I was 2 years old, collecting for the last 25+ years. I’m now half a century young, but it’s not the years, it’s the milage. 3,300+ kits so far, all expertly built and award winners (at least in my mind. Really, who could build 3K kits in one lifetime?) Some of my claims to fame: supplied paperwork to Miss Veronica Beckett of Revel, Venice, Ca. in early 80’s for History Maker series for 9 cylinder A/C engine. Have been in John Burn’s vault!
Appeared on local TV show Let’s Talk Antiques, showcasing a wee bit of my collection. The teaser was a close up of an Aroura factory built ‘George Washington’ because the tape was broadcast on George Bush’s inauguration day. Fitting.

Sounds like you,ve been busy guy. I started modeling at 7, an Airfix Piper Cub I believe.
I build aircraft and armour, mainly German armour at the moment. (I haven,t built a kite for about 18 months), but I,ll probably do one soon. I,ve got quite a few aeroplane kits stockpiled including. 1\24 Spitfire I, 1/24 Mustang D, 1/24 Focke Wulf 190 A5. and various others in 1/32 and 1/48 scale
