guys can u give me any idea the measurement of cobblestones or brick walls in a 1/35 diorama if ill be making it scratch built using foamboards. thanks
An American brick, (I don’t know about European ones) measures; 8 7/8ths x 3 3/8ths x 2 1/2. That would be roughly; .25 x .1 x .078 of an inch in 1/35th. A 8 3/4inch cobblestone, just as an average, would be a clean 1/4 of an inch in 1/35th.
thanks leopold, the reason i ask this is i’ll try to make a diorama with the concept of the last part of “Saving Private Ryan” lots of ruin bricks and cobble stones.
I know there are two different (at least) sizes of bricks here in Finland. The thing is that I don´t know if the modern standard size of bricks is the same as in 1944. I would bet it isn´t.
just keep abit in scale , i don’t think anyone is going to measure your briks if they looking at your dio [:D]
i use this program to calculate scale its a free download

Cobblestone sizes will vary.
Have a look at the Tamiya Diorama Material sheets, they are I think designed for 1/35 scale.
