ZING!
(Seriously, though, I’m impressed, as always. I’m watching this one from the start, and I’m already learning a few things. Of course, working in 1/72 does make a few things different. Case in point- the levers. You detailed yours. On my TB-3, I had to throw them out- too tiny. Ah, well. To each his own. Thumbs up all the way!)
Oh my, the knobs on those levers are so TINY! If I tried making something like that, even with the magnifiers I put on my head sometimes, the next thing I’d have to do is make an appointment for the optometrist.[:D]
I love the wiring, though. Once again, chukw’s the master![tup][tup]
chuckw,
I was wondering what type of reference you used to get the rivet line details. I have a Ta-152 in my to get built pile and am looking for something that shows all the rivets.
Matt
As usual, you gang of nutbags embarass me with all the nice-nice… THANKS!
Not much modeling time this weekend- but lots of pics, starting with our 100th in this series. Take it away, Fritzi!
amazing as always…the pencil stuff looks great…have to try that…cant wait till next week…
Stunning as usuall Chuck. The oil drybrushing really looks great and that blown up for our screens. Ill bet in the flesh it looks even better. When your finished, post it to the UK so i can have a proper look, theres a good man LOL. Heres this weeks Picture,

Ach, so! Ach, soooooooo!
Very good,I really like the drybrush detail. I will have to try that on my next one…keep up the updates…great job…
[bow] Those Aires sets really to grab the eye with the amazing details. I think your photography is amazing as well. I have a devil of a time getting good pics close up. I think mostly because I work in the middle of the night and my lighting has an attitude as bad a pfenning and his quest for world domination!
As always your scratchbuilding skills and problem solving attacks motivate me to try harder! Thanks for sharing! [#toast]
PS I have decided the shadowy figure with the hidden face is really a cute raven haired character in disquise! [(-D]
Dang Chuk, looking awesome! So let me get this straight, when you say drybrushing with “oils” you mean the artist oils we normally use for washes and stuff? If so, I had never thought about doing that, and can’t believe I had not until reading just now!!!
Brian
Another [tup][tup] from me!
Amazing work on the pit can’t wait to see that radio painted
Jason
My sincere thanks to you, my friends!
Running late? Me? Of course! That’s why I have assistants- take it away, Fritzi!
WOW!!! Your work always amazes me![bow]
Specular highlights? Or was it low lights? Its obvious that you have a serious artists forsight with your modelling and im always stunned by your attention to detail. Every model i do, i try to add something ive learnt from other ‘Greats’. Ive pilfered loads from you Chuck. [bow]
Your picture for the day. Gives a fair look at the cockpit from a perspective ive not seen before.

Looking sweet there Chuck, I wouldn’t have been brave enough to drill away the mis-aligned parts! Great tips!
Matt
Love the beer stein in the last shot.
Well, if I had to find any fault at all, it’s that you spelled, “Liebchen” wrong, “Leibchen” would be “little body”…
