Me410 A-1: To The Finish! 11/7/10

Thanks, Guy. The well fix was so simple- yet it eluded me for sooo long! The wheel well doors did cycle on landing to avois rocks and such being clanged up into the works- but if you can show all that juicy interior detail, don’t you think I will? ;D Let’s just say it’s under a pre-flight inspection- I’m sure that happened on a regular basis. Thanks for another greta pic, to!

Cheers!

I like Greta pics too!

Ha Chukw made me chuckle!

Chuk- another great installment!!! I thank you so much for doing these step by step builds. I have learned so much from these builds.

Kannichiwa & Arigato-Jason

Chukw; Another brilliant installment; the finishing techniques, the great repair strategy, the clever use of “found” paint containers**.

All and all a great help to my understanding of what really good model building looks like. Many thanks

** now of course I have go out and get prescription contacts so’s kin get those cool disposable contact containers- but what the heck, its all about following in the footsteps of the master [swg]

With all the shimming you’ve had to do lately, let’s have some “Music to fill seams by.”

Okay, everybody sing:

“Shim-shiminey, shim-shiminey, shim-shim-sheree…”[{(-_-)}]

Oh well, as my mother always says, “This too shall pass.”

There must be somethomg in the water here- you guys are nuts! Must why why I loves yas so! ;D

Well, it’s been a crazy weekend, but I did manage to get a little done. Here’s the mixed bag of achievements, as presented by my helpers- go, Fritzi!

Back at my workbench again after a couple months off and just got caught up in all your work again. Beautiful work as usual. Can’t wait for more.

Mark

Oh, yeah,I bet he loves his job…great update as usual…keep it up,

Chukw’s updates are always the highlight of my visits to finescale.com.

Chukw I cant tell you how much I look forward to your installments, please do keep up the fantastic work.

Great installment Chuck. Love your subtle attention to detail.

Good stuff, thanks.

now a question: because I’m not familiar with resin-yet-, is it sorta normal for defects (ie breaks/missing corners) to be found? or just “the luck of the draw” with a peticular package?

Thanks, guys! Duster, it’s really just the luck factor. I’ve bought a set or two that are perfect, and some just had some difficulties like these. Resin parts are basically hand made, and by the nature of the extreme detail, thin moldings and brittle resin- it’s just gonna happen. The doors in question are beautiful- but paper thin.

I had a great Thanksgiving holiday with family, and drew the base sketch for this sitting at the kitchen table, chillin’. More modeling for next time- enjoy!

Now that is cool!!! Any chance it can be bigger? I think it’d look good on the workshop wall with all the other military pics.

Chuck your talents never cease to amaze me. Ii whish I had a fraction of the artistic abilities you posses. Watching you build the 410 is like watching weekly instalments of your favorite show. Thanks for taking the time to entertaint us all.

I’ll second that opinion.

Or as my desktop piccy [:-^]

Oh man, Fritzy drives a Kettenkrad. Im in love!!!

…Guy

Well Chuk! Youv’e gone an done it! After following your builds I decided to use you for an inspiration and try to go all out on one of my own! Started on the MPM Hi-Tech 1/48 Greif and got all this resin and PE extra stuff for it on top of what comes in the kit. As I work on this multi-media nightmare I can’t help but think of your excellent and entertaining threads. So I guess this is a bravo to you Chuk! Just don’t let me get my hands on ya! [:(!][(-D]

I wonder what I will be doing next? Taking art classes and drawing my own characters? Jeeze! Probably not though. Hannah and Fritzi are hard acts to follow. [:P] Could use a Brunette though? LOL! [:-^][bow]

Back to the bench again and asking myself…WWCD? What would Chuk do?

[#ditto]I have to agree, like totally man! [8D]Dude, that stuff really rocks![yeah]

Keep it comin’ Chuk. I just imagine my own little helpers, but they just don’t match your sweet imagination…[swg].

Mmmmm… Lovely! Great photo Chuk, I would also like to see it larger! [:P]
