I’m a big fan of '40’s Lufwaffe aircraft yet I had no idea of this project. It’s now in my favorites list.

I had read in a “Fly Past” rag about 4 mnths ago of a two seat 262 doing some test flights. But it had a minor problem which had to do w/ the landing gear so the pilot softly brought her down in a grassy field.
The restoration team said that there was some damage taken on(ya think…!!) but not to worry, she’ll be in the air in no time.
I think it happened in the states around the midwest or somin like that.
