In the home stretch now…Future has been applied and decals going on…could not wait to get this up for your feedback…Aircraft represents bird from 5 KG (J) 51.
This was my first go using Blue Tack…

1/72 Revell Monogram “Pro Modeller” kit…built OOTB…Canopy is drying as I write this…Nice kit, fell together easily enough…
The camo scheme is pretty wild…tried my best to get the effect down…may be better on a 1/48 or 1/32 kit…LOTS of twists and turns.
The Blue Tack is a bit tricky to work with. The thinner the line needed the harder it is…well it was fun and is a nice addition to my burgeoning collection…
wow thats wild! looks awesome and for 1/72 to! yeah i belive youwhen you say alot of twist and turns looks great! i think i might pick up some of that blue tack stuff and give it a go!
Wild & wonderful. Nice work Joe.
Regards, Rick
Wow, im inpressed!Nice job, hope to see it when its done…
Wow nice bird! I got to see two of the real thing…one in the smithsonian in washington DC and an another at the aviation museum at NAS Willow Grove PA. That is on my list of future builds Im not sure what scale yet though…Great job it looks great!
P.S. definitely post pics of the finished product!

GIGGETY GIGGETY. Nice bird!
Great looking build so far. Can’t wait to see more.
Joe,
Your 262 is looking very fine. Nice work on the paint.

Thanks to all!
Like I said it was a fun build…in researching it came to mind a lot of the Luftwaffe schemes are so unique that it may be virtually impossible to catalog them all. What may be a fun “what if” is an A4 or F18 Aggressor done in a Luft scheme…
What may be fun as well is a GB for the unbelievable and un-nerving camo scheme…any scale any thing goes as long as the scheme can be backed up with documentation…
Using the Blue Tack produced good results, despite the application frustration which is typical…Does any one out there still use Parafilm M? BMF and Blue Tack would seem to make Parafilm obsolete…
I would think you would have a lot of interest in a wild camo scheme GB. Lot of nuts out there that are into self torture. (myself included [:D]).
Nice work on the Me 262. look forward to the finished product.
Great job especially on 1/72!

Wallabies to win Tri Nations

Thank you…Well the Tah’s were game, but alas…Now the Tri Nations, well lets put that one on hold until the Lions are finished being skinned…I think we can both agree that throttling them should be the focus now…we will get to the Wannabees soon enough[}:)]…All joking aside should be a great series this year…Sad to see the Reds in such disarray, a good mate of mine is a Queenslander and he has been absolutely distraught…
