ME-163 finished pics

thought i’d post a few pics of the ME 163 in 1-32 Hasegawa that i had pretty much finished until i noticed a missing part, forum member Dogsbody came to the rescue all the way from Canada to help me out on this one and i can’t say enough about how happy i was . Just snapped these a minute or two ago as a wait for the Future coat on my flight 19 Avenger to dry…

Looks great!!

I really like the paint job and the plackard. Could you mind telling me where you got the wood base, it’s very classy and wouldn’t mind getting a few for some of my builds.

Again, beautiful work!!

the bases are readilly availible at Wal Mart,or Micheal’s,i use them all the time for breakdowns, cutaways or inflight builds as is evident with my FJ3 build also in the AC forum

Sharp lookin’ build lone. Very nice.

Nicely done Lone. Thanks for sharing.

Regards, Rick

Nice!..very nice build. Thanks for the look.

I think it’s a sharp looking plane. I like the fact that you’re showing off the engine/nozzle. How did you like the kit?

the kit itself was great although it seems to be an older mold with a few panel line inconsistencies

i like the fact that if you wanted to you can display it either in half or snap it together,i just chose to mount in an open position

Very nice a good clean build.

well done and beautifully presented.

Well done, lone- that’s a great looking bird.

I think you did a really nice job on the camo and accenting the control surfaces. Nice view of the engine, and it just jumps out when put on that base.

Great work!

(And looking forward to that Avenger, too…)

nice one, Lone! Personally, I like how you;ve chosen to display it. It shows off your detail work on the engine.

great looking build Lone.

Very impressive job on the build, especially the finish. I also like how it’s displayed. Well done!
