Me 109G-12

Hi All

Anyone got any pics of the back seat/instructers position?

I`m in the middle of building the Falcon kit which seems to have the fuel line running along the right hand wall of the cockpit, but I thought that the rear fuel tank was removed on the G-12?

All and any help much apprieciated

Gary

From what I can tell, the rear position was almost identical to the front. Also, I’m not so sure that fuel lines were run through the cockpit are (for safety reason). I could be wrong however. I found this conversion done in 1/32 using an UMI (???) resin set.

You can probably take some “best practice” techniques from his build and apply them to a good old G-6 with a pair of True Details cockpit sets.

He has a review of the falcon Bf109G-12 that you can go to on that page. From the looks of it it will be one heck of a build. Wish you luck on the build.

Hi Again,

Thanks for the input, and yes falcon039 its quite a build- spent 3 weeks cleaning up the wing parts alone. I was considering extending the slats and drooping every thing on the back edge, but I`m still not sure I can carry this off.
