MD-500

This is was a 1/48 scale MH-6 kit from Academy that I built into a civilian MD-500. I started to built it as a military MH-6 model as you can see by the missing doors but I left it laying around unfinished for sometime & when I had the drive to do the build again I decided to build it as a civilian model depicting a fictitious aircraft of the New Jersey Turnpike & Parkway Authority. The decals were homemade & the helipad was built using wall spakle apllied over a wooden plaque. Comments are welcome. [;)]

Hey, looks familiar.

Great looking model. Good job.

Thanks Gino.[;)]

Very cool.

[:D]looks great to me,nice work.[:D]

Looks good! [tup]

Colors remind me of italian customs (Guardia di Finanza); they also have MDs-500.

Nice build. It’s good to see the Killer Egg in something other than the usual black/helo drab. Now if you hung the rocket pods and miniguns, that’d be a good deterrent to road rage, don’t you think?

Good job with the custom decals, too. You’ve got a winner on your hands.

Oh Definitely, everytime those speed devils see a sign that says: SPEED MONITORED BY AIRCRAFT, they will certainly slow down or get blown to smithereens.[}:)]

Thanks very much for the comments guys.
