I think those models are to heavily weatherd, no jet is that dirty![8-][(-D]
Heavily weathered and getting ready for FLY OFF!!! That means going home! [:D]
Filf… Who says planes don’t get as dirty as we model them? Nice pic by the way. [;)]
Nice pic, thanx for sharing.
What a fantastic pic showing the results iof the never ending paint fight against corrosion…
900 different shades of the same color…happy painting to all those OCD modelers out there who just “have to” get it right - it’s enough to drive ya nuts.
Well said!
Thanks for sharing that nice picture.
makes you want to shake you finger at the guy in FSM who commented that his aircraft were never allowed to get that dirty… [:D]
Good view of the wing fold mechanism. Oh, and I have to agree, they are weathered pretty bad.
Maybe the crew chief is a modeler and they didn’t look right so he snuck into the hangar late one night with his AB and some pastels…
Those are really dirty birds. Thanks for the pic.
Regards, Rick
[:D] LOL, funny man !!!
Nice pic, Dragonfire !!!
Cheers,
Jürgen
Great pics, thanks for posting them.
Darren.
A carrier’s flight deck is a REALLY dirty place and, there’s not a lot of extra fresh water
for washing airplanes. Waterless aircraft cleaner is available but it’s a reall pain in the
butt to use.
