So as a lot of you know I am fairly new to the hobby about a year since I returned and I have a baby on the way(whew october is aproching fast) and I am trying to increase my stash of kits so I will have a decent amount of kits to build even if I may not have the money to buy a new kit. I found a gentleman on craigslist in my area who is doing the oposite and trying to thin out his stash. he has emailed me his list of kits and alltho he has not givin me any pricing(he says we will negociate that once I see what I want). So I figured I would see if anybody could give me any feedback on some of the kits I have found and let me know the quality, detail and fit. thanks ahead guys
Fujimi 1/72 F14A or Hasegawa- 1/72 F-14A
Hasegawa 1/72 FW 190D
Hasegawa 1/72 F/A 18A
Fujimi 1/72 F-4E
The kits you listed are good, maybe not the best but worth building. If you are asking for what they are worth dollar wise, check your local hobby shops or search on eBay to see what others are paying for them. Just be a good negotiator, strike the best deal you feel comfortable with.
I’m not familiar with the Fujimi Phantom, but the others are all very good kits. Just be careful on the Hasegawa Tomcat as there were 2 toolings of the kit. The original has raised panel lines & lacks detail, the re-tool has engraved panel lines, better detail & comes with a PE fret.

The Fujimi Phantom is a good kit. I have several of the Fujimi F-4’s and have enjoyed everyone I built. I have the “E” model waiting to be built as well and will probably dig into that in the near future.
