Masking for Paint

Guys…getting ready to paint my C-130H. There is a lot of “glass” on this plane…my question is this…how or what is the best thing to use to mask off the “glass” for painting?

You could buy some masks for it, Eduard does a set.

I have found there mask sets to be really useful for those multi pain windows. If i can’t get hold of a mask, i always use tamiya masking tape and a fresh scalpel blade.

assuming you are just masking the entire glass area and not the frame you might try liquid mask. probably too late for this but i have a couple of helos in the queue and it was suggested painting around the window opening a couple of mm with the final coat color. that way if you mask with tape it doesn’t have to be 100%, ie a little tape overlap on the fusalage would still have the correct color underneath.
