Hi All,
Just getting ready to do my next WWII battleship and I want to do a dazzle camo. Is there a trick to masking that allows a straight line to skip over various different decks/ guns/ superstructure?

hmmm interesting question, I haven’t come up against something like this yet. I bet if you ask in the ship forum you might get a quicker response because some people don’t come into this part at all. I’ll have to watch if you do post this there because I would like to see thair methods. One day I plan on doing a USS Texas (BB) in one of her pacific patterns…
here is something I found on how one guy did it, similar to how I mask hard edged RAF disruptive camo on aircraft.

Is this what you mean?

One of the the modelers in my club is planning this for one of his ships. I’ll ask him if he’s made any progress and what he’s doing but we won’t be meeting until next week.
I have the same sort of problem, even simple stripes such as the ones on the bismark. It find it hard to get a straight line along the superstrucure.
