Any one have any input on this kit? Or the Italeri for that matter?

I have done a couple of Maquette kits one under dargon lic.both kits were pertty good kits to build.I would go for it and have some fun with them.Digger

Thanks. I like this tank and the SdKfz 140/1 both by Maquette, but I have never done their kits

The italeri kit is nice and not too far off. A little tweeking here and there and you’ll have a winner. The hull is a single piece hull and the fit is good. Though there are some sink marks on the suspension. (Built a few of these in different configurations and all the suspensions had sink marks.) If you’re looking for an identifiable version of this kit, this one is good although some fo the detail could use some work, but thats just rivet counter in me speaking. Rubber band tracks.

The Maquette kit is going to be fun. The hull must be assembled as it is in pieces. Take your time here and do it right or it will have an effect on the rest of the build. Nice details. Again a little sink on the suspension but since I had only one of these, I can’t say its a problem with the line lie Italeri. The plastic is a little soft. The directions are readable. More interior details and indy tracks. I like this kit alot. Needs a little tweeking as well but more there to work with. Good platform for detailing.

I have both kits and think the Marquette is a "little " better, not by much. The rivets on the Marquette kit looks wrong. The Italeri wheels have no backing, ect.

If you have another project wait for Tristar. The have a 38T coming some time next year (after the PZIV D) . [:)]

tanker3- I have been wishing for one for a year now, so that is FANTASTIC news!! Where did you hear that?!?! Hopefully they release the SdKfz 140/1 too

ive been working on the italeri offering for a while now. its an old kit, i mean mine is. i think that the plaastic may have deteriorated a little, as it seemed pretty brittle. ive been tweaking it here and there, and its turning out pretty nice

Mailing list from Tristar. Do not remember How I got on. Think when I had problems with their first PZ I and got on their list.
