seen a lot of the guys calling me out on my armor
(they didn’t seem have much in the way of criticism
for the Mirage), so here is a small taste—have at

Manstein’s Revenge has been banned for thirty days. If you keep posting his messages the ban will be useless, he will come back acting as stupid as ever and he’ll get premamently banned. From the tone of his letter, he hasn’t learned a thing, and that will be thanks to you.
Do us all a favor (including Manstein’s Revenge) and let this lie.
Sorry, but I can’t comply. Obviously MR is still reading the forums, or at the very least you’ve been letting him know what is being said. The guy has been given a time off, and you are enabling him to circumvent that. You think we should see his stuff. I think he should know that his past behavior is unwelcome. I could start my own thread, but that’s just giving him more publicity. We can see his stuff in 28 days, when his ban is over and he, and his builds, are welcomed back. And I mean that. If he has learned a lesson, then we should let bygones be bygones and move on. You need to let that process take place.
I personally have no beef with MR. I didn’t participate in any of the posts that brought about his banning (except to give a thumbs up to the admins for giving him a suspension rather than an outright ban). But he was given the suspension for a reason. As guests of these forums, we should respect the decisions of the administrators. This is now the third thread (that I know of) where you are tooting his horn. Why? What purpose does it serve?
Jester, you know I respect you and your work, but Bill makes some good points. In all fairness to Manstein, it would be best for him to be present when showing his work so he doesn’t have to go through you to respond to comments. Also posting on his behalf does intrude on his 30 day ban. Just my [2c]
I “believe” what MR is doing is meeting the challenge to see some of his own work. The gauntlet was thrown down and he is (in his own way) meeting the challenge.
This goes to show that when you’re good at something, you don’t need people skills. All the great modelers I’ve met face-to-face have been at least as arrogant and condescending than Mr Man there.
I personally won’t comment on them until his suspension is lifted. Continuing to post his work, e-mails and comments totally defeats the purpose. Also, he won’t be able to answer questions or comment on the feedback… so what’s the point? He can post those when he comes back and we can critique his work and solicit his feedback as well.
Jester, are you and Manstein’s Revenge friends in real life? It almost seems like you two have an agenda here… or am I wrong about that? [%-)]
I completely couldn’y disagree more, and I think that this statement must have been posted in haste without considering some of the great modelers on this site who have no attitude at all.[sigh]
All I can say is that I’m not gonna dignify this post with a comment on Manstein’s work; he is , after all, SUSPENDED. and I hope others will have the respect for the decision of the forum moderators to do the same.
It’s sad now much dissension this joker caused us here in his previous(mercifully) brief tirades, and it’s regrettable to me that it seems now the potential for “two camps” exists which will further disrupt these forums. It’s too bad somebody didn’t think of that before becoming a spokesman for this manipulator.

It’s kind of irritating, he was suspended for 30 days (by the Editor of FSM might I add…) for being a not so nice member, yet he is somehow still haunting these forums. I just don’t get it… [:(!]
I did say fez-to-fez, but yes, I was being hasty. It’s just something that intensely annoys me, and which is why I do not physically interact with fellow modellers at all.
