when you make the weld seams with putty, what do you all put the putty down with?
I’ve tried a fairly small paint brush, but with not much sucess.
And after you put the putty down, do you smear it smooth with your finger? or what?
TIA

I don’t use thin filler putty for weld seams. I’lll try to use something with the consistency of plasticine or clay. Roll a small “thread” between the palms of your hands to a very thin diameter, lay this down where you need the weld seam, and press into place. Then texture with a mini screw-driver or some other similar tool.
Zokissima,
Would Milliput fit your description?
Patrick,
Are you talking about making weld beads, or filling seam between the joins of two parts?
There are lots of answers and techniques to either question.
