on another forum I’ve heard of a process to make your own flags from tissue paper., but it was over 6 years old and no longer running., has anyone else heard of this process, using a printer and tissue paper.,
Hey Steve,
I remember seeing something about that myself. Never have tried that technique, but thought I’d shot you this link. I’m doing a captured T34 and needed a German recognition flag for the hatch. Had a couple of people mention this place. I bought the flags that are on the link I gave here and I am very impressed. The customer service (well the whole process of buying…didn’t need customer service per say), was great! Fast shipping. Great packing! Lots of info to help with the process of making the flag, and tons of selections!
Just thought I’d throw this out in case it might be of interest to you. If you want any more details, feel free to PM me.
Hope this helps.

I know folks who do it that way, but I don’t. I find regular printer paper okay. I take the flag graphic, make a mirror image next to it along the edge that the line would go to. I fold it carefully, and glue halves together with thinned white glue- about two parts water to one part glue. Put a tiny drop of detergent in glue mix. While flag wet, do whatever draping and shaping. It will hold shape well after several hours of drying.
thanks guys I appreciate the info
