Does any one have any info on mail order companies other than Squadron Mail Order. I know about that one, but I haven’t been able to find others. I don’t want to deal with high interest credit card business.

I’m pretty sure your bank is the one who sets the interest rate on your card-not the hobby company. No matter who you order from, the rate will be the same. Shipping will be the only rate that a mail order company will have control over.
I’ll let others chime in with other mail order sources. I’m drawing a blank and it’s late.
Let me refine my remark. What I should have said is I don’t want to use a credit card for purchasing my supplied. I do know that suppliers don’t set interest rates. My fault though. I do have a communication problem at times.
Besides Squadron, for plastic models I also use Sprue Brothers, Brookhurst Hobbies and Hobby Link Japan, depending on what I’m ordering.
There are some manufacturers that you can order from directly, like Eduard.
I also use Model Expo for wooden ship supplies. Micro Mark is a good souce for specialty hobby tools and supplies.
Finally, I like to build older “classic” kits, so I shop a lot on Ebay, looking for deals.

With regard to credit cards, you don’t pay any interest charges if you pay off the balance every month, so not quite sure what your concern is. If you’re worried about online security or identity theft, that’s another issue entirely, though certainly a legitimate one.
More and more online vendors are accepting PayPal, if you’re more comfortable with that.
If you’re talking about paying by check, expect longer delivery times, as vendors (and banks) typically have a holding period waiting for checks to clear before shipping mechandise.

What I am looking for is a sourse of indivudial track links. I like the AFV Club and Bronco tracks, but Squadron mail order tends to supply only those related to the tank kits of these two companies.
Tamiya vinyl tracks have given me no problems, but I have had poor results for the Italierie vinyl tracks.
Also I don’t have a problem waiting for a check to clear. Since I don’t do contests I have no deadlines to meet. I just don’t like building a model and a year later I look at it and the vinyl tracks have fallen apart.
I’ve purchased AFV track link sets from Sprue Brothers in the past.

I order from Spru Brothers,Scalehobbyist and Dragon on line a lot also MicroMark you can use your debit card it will be processed just like a credit card. I’ve done it like this for years never any probluems. ACESES5
For track links I’d check out Sprue Brothers and DragonUSAOnline.com. Scale Hobbyist is good for kits, less so for aftermarket. Squadron’s range is, in my experience, kinda narrow. Pacific Coast Models (pacmodels.com) is another one worth looking at, as they’re an importer for friulmodel and tend to have the best prices on those glorious metal tracks.
