I had the same issue with the desktop magnifier - keeping the work in focus was tricky. Since I wear glasses, I chose to try Donegan’s Optisight instead of their Optivisor. Working quite well for me so far and fairly comfortable, although the band could fit better. Doesn’t come with a light, but my workbench light is sufficient. Only weighs 6.4 ounces. I have my normal OTC readers then I just clip these on for mor magnification, not heavy, as comfy as your readers are and I just flip them up when they aren’t needed.
