MAD Sherman Week 7/31/05 - 8/7/05

In the tradition of these MAD builds, I want to do another Sherman coming up so I propose an upcoming Sherman MAD build… 1 week, any scale, any variant, 1 week to put it together. First week of August.

I’m gonna have to say no. The first half of the year is so full of GB’s that I’m starting to lose track ( not to mention the $100+ I just plunked down on stuff for 2 more upcoming builds). I’d be OK with late summer, maybe fall if you can wait that long, otherwise I’ll sit back and watch this one.

Yep. I have the classic 1/72 Italeri M4 unbuilt sitting on my desk right now. An oldie but a goodie. Can we start it this weekend??? [:D][:o)]

You know I’m always in for a MAD build. Like you said, 400 or 401 doesn’t really make a difference [:D]!

I got the 105mm M4A3, so I’ll be building out of the box. My grandfather fought in the Battle of the Bulge, somewhere north of it, in Belgium. I’m going to build one from around Bastogne, since this will be my first piece of armor ever.

What’s a MAD build. I know it’s a group build but what is MAD.

Means you build it in a very small time frame- in this case a week

What is the deadline for signing up? I am interested in doing a 1/35th Tamiya M4A3 75mm. Just don’t know if I can swing it time wise yet

jason, if we get more people moving it to August, we’ll do it then… sign up deadline is the start date
