Has anyone every seen a kit or plans to scratch build the Transavia PL-12 Airtruk. It was the airplane used at the end of Mad Max, Beyond Thunderdome. They had one on display at Oshkosh about 10 years ago. I believe it was an Australian crop duster.
I would love to find any kind of kit for one of those. We had them stationed with us in Thailand during the war for a short time while they performed classified missions. I found out later that they were used to seed the clouds during the rainy season so they could get a better crop of rice. They were painted in orange and white stripes with their national insignias dislayed on the top and bottom of the wings and the sides of the fuselage. I wasn’t allowed to take any pictures and got some fairly good ones.
