Macchi MC.200

Here’s the Sweet offering in 1/144th scale…all construction took place Friday evening (about an hour or so) and the painting/weathering off and on between doggy business. And the best part…? Still another whole kit in the box!

Great looking build! Well done!

Sweet looking build, especially for 144th. Great job. Bryan

Thats gotta be a small model. You’ve done a great job of it though. I’d like to see a photo with something in it (like a pen or coin) so we can see how small it really is. Very impressive paint job on such a small scale. Thanks for sharing.

incredible job on such a small scale.

Here’s something few people can say - I have a cowling section for one. Dad brought it home from Italy after he shot one down.

Wow, great model and the cowling is very cool John P! Looks like there were plenty of holes in that bird.

Nice build

Very Sweet indeed!

Very nice, and are also going to make the model that fits on that cowling [:)]

It’s nice to see pictures of an Italian fighter plane for once! It’s a small plane, but a great result, with beautiful colours.[^]

Nicely done… great paint and i also would like to see it in realation to some object coin stamp , ect. looks like a full size one with out something to go by… very well done

Beautiful model

How long did it take you to build it?

That’s a great idea, I never even thought of it!

The actual construction took about an hour Friday night while BSing with my wife…I painted over Saturday and Sunday (3 or 4 hours total).

Excellent build [tup][tup]. The Sweet kits are king of 1/144.

Regards, Rick

I looks great for a 1/48 , but a 144 WOW…

Well done looks great thanks for the pic.[8D]

Always impressed me too - great aerial marksmaship - until I finally asked Dad about it. He said those holes weren’t from the shoot-down. He and a bunch of GIs used it for rifle target practice after the fact. Oh well.
