M992A2 Conversion Complete

hereI have completed my summer-long conversion of an M109 howitzer into an M992A2 FAASV (Field Artillery Ammunition Support Vehicle). The build-thread can be seen . I have wanted to build an M992A2 for a long time. I am finally glad to have one in my collection. I have marked it as a FAASV from 1-41 FA, 3ID during the initial invasion of Iraq in 2003.

Eventually, I will do an M109A6 Paladin from 1-41 FA to go with it.

Here is the final piece.

Easy now Mike. You might ruptuer something. [H] Thanks for the compliments. Eventually I will get to the Paladin to go with it. It is definitely on the to-do list. It will be a while though. I have a couple commission works to finish up first.

Nicely done.[:D[ Now I want to build one.[:D]

HeavyArty, sorry this stupid system will not allow me give you six stars because it is scratch built. [Y] I have been following your work since day one.

Jetmodeler: Thanks. If you really want to do one, I can send you the CAD and the contact for the company to cut it out for you. Let me know.

Andy: Thanks for the compliments. It was a fun build.

Wow. That is impressive! Nicely done!

As much as I want to build one, I’m going to have to turn down that offer.[:(] I don’t really have time to do much modeling right now as I only get about an hour a day to work on my sherman due to homework for school.

Thanks anyways.[:)]
