Does anyone know where I can get some good pictures of the M8 engine compartment that would show details of hoses and wiring?
Do you mean the armored car or the 75mm howitzer motor carriage? regardless, here are two resources:

Enter “m8” in the search line and click “Search digitized material” Both the M8 (TM9-1743) armored car and light tanks (TM 9-1729A) tech manuals will come up. There’s probably info about the M8HMC in there.

Thanks, I was looking for the M8 Armored Car engine compartment pictures. I could not get any pictures off that site each, image came up as a black spot. I did get the Recognition Pictorial Manual on Armored Vehicles for all forces which will be helpful. I also got a maintenance manual which can help with model assembly. If I don’t find some pictures I will buy a CD from Easy 1 Productions.
