Hi all,
That’s my view of IDF’s upgraded Chaffee
Basic 1/35 Italeri/academy kits mix…
The kit will soon be over, at the moment the most important missing thingies are the tracks

Your reactions ???
Regards
Richard

Nice build, putting after market tracks on her?
[:)] great build, nice work.[:)]
Superb weathering job on your Chaffee, it looks hot enough to fry an egg on the fender!
Wow, that’s impressive. The paint job is just superb. It’s not over-weathered, and looks quite nice. Which conversion did you use for the Israeli modifications, or are the scratchbuilt?
Excellent job, especially on the weathering! Care to share your techniques? I just picked up the Academy Merkava III, which wears a similiar paint scheme
Hi zokissima, hi all,
As regards the conversion, it is a total imagination… That tank is a what-if, for which I used spare Blazer reactive armor boxes and a mix ao M24/M4 from Italeri, that’s just the way it goes. Don’t look for any AM set, you will find none.
Happy to see you enjoy my idea of the IDF superChaffee !

Richard
Hi JWest21,
and thanks ! The weathering technique used is very simple ! I airbrushed the Humbrol ref 72 all over, and then put an oil paint raw umber+black wash, then a faded with white 72 drybrush, and here I was…
Very easy technique in the reach of many modellers, even un-experienced ! Requires just patience and tests…
Happy with your enjoying my kit !

Richard
Hi tnker 101,
Thanks for your comment ! I don’t know which tracks I’ll put on her, but I arranged the original M24 Italeri ones fitting, probably others would do, I got spare M1A1 ones, but they may be too large, I gotta check that out !
Cheers,
Richard
