Wow! Sounds like a time consuming project.
It can be time consuming and sometimes it can be a little frustrating, but you have to persevere.
Great job on all the panels. I’m curious though, how much xanax does it take to complete those?

Yeah, seems like quite the undertaking. They need to provide a gig to get everything aligned.
I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving. Got back to work and I scratchbuilt 3 more pieces. I was glad I had the jig and it was still a pain. 1 more to go. Enjoy the pic.
Here is the finished slat armour. Now to begin attaching it to the turret, but first the turret gets painted first.
I’ve given the turret its initial paint job. Now for some equipment painting and weathering, before the slats go on.
Well, the turret is finished. Next step is to paint and attach the slat armour. Does anyone hear the ‘Jeopardy’ theme song.
Now that the turret is done, I attached it to the hull, to see how it looks. I LIKE IT! Now onto the slat armour.![]()
Looking great, Manuel! Looking forward to the slat armor.
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL! The holidays are behind us and I have finally finished my tank. I will reiterate this; PE can be a pain to work with, but it does enhance some aspects. I’m satisfied with it, satisfied. I liked the transition from the 105mm to the 120mm gun, the new Laser Warning System, the new .50cal TC machine gun, the mantlet and the side armor skirts. Well enjoy the pics.
You did a fantastic job on this project…Congratulations!
I enjoyed seeing this project come together- an interesting take on the M60. You’ve done a fine job the various tricky details.
Amazing work on this fascinating project! You’ve totally stuck the landing!
Thank you all for your comments.
Amazing work. Just started back into modeling after 50 years, and it is simply incredible what is available now and what folks can do. Really great job! ![]()
